Terms and Conditions

Welcome to New Healing Solutions Clinic (NHSC). Please read these terms carefully, as they guide your engagement with us. By booking an appointment, you agree to and accept the following:

Important:

  • Always check your junk folder if you’re expecting a reply from us.
  • Ensure you use the correct email and website address. We are NHSC (New Healing Solutions Clinic) note the spelling and avoid similar-sounding services.


Fee Structure

Our fees are transparent and include:

  • The assessment appointment.
  • Review of records.
  • The assessment report.


Payment Options:


Insurance Reimbursement:

Please check with your insurance provider if they cover our fees. You will need to pay upfront, and we will provide receipts for reimbursement claims.


Appointment Details

  • Assessment: Conducted by a GMC-licensed Consultant Psychiatrist with MRCPsych qualifications and specialist training.
  • Format: Online via Zoom (up to 1.5 hours). Most assessments are completed in one session, but complex cases may require a second appointment (rare).
  • Cancellations: Changes or cancellations require 48 hours’ notice. A £10 admin fee applies for cancellations made before this period.


Referrals and Documentation

  • Self-Referrals: We accept self-referrals. A GP referral letter is helpful but not mandatory.
  • Documentation: Patients are responsible for providing necessary documents (e.g., GP summaries, previous reports, school records). We do not chase third parties for records.
  • Collateral Information: Family input or school reports may be required for a comprehensive assessment.


Confidentiality and GP Communication

  • Confidentiality: Assessments can remain confidential unless treatment is initiated, in which case your GP will be informed.
  • Medication: GPs typically do not initiate ADHD medication but may take over prescribing after titration. Please discuss this with your GP beforehand.


Medication and Treatment

. Titration Process:

  • Generally takes 3–4 follow-up appointments (£200 each, including one prescription).
  • Additional prescriptions outside follow-ups cost £75 (excluding medication costs).
  • Blood tests and an ECG are required before starting medication. This can be organised by your GP however if declined it can be arranged via our partner clinic. Extra fees applies

. Shared Care Agreement (SCA):

  • Cost: £150.
  • Discuss SCA with your GP before titration ends.


Additional Information

  • Diagnosis: Assessments may or may not result in an ADHD diagnosis. Our psychiatrists provide their expert opinion based on the evaluation.
  • Treatment: We reserve the right to decline treatment if deemed inappropriate, even if ADHD is diagnosed.
  • Case Use: Your case details may be used for audit, research, or case discussions, with complete confidentiality maintained.
